How weather affects baseball

Resistance is created as the air pushes back against it, resisting its motion and decreasing the distance the ball travels. Just stick your arm out of a car window at 50 mph and feel the push, if you don't believe that air can provide much resistance. From place-to-place and from day-to-day the density of air is different depending on temperature, humidity and air pressure. I say shame on you for doing so, but I'll take the money anyway. Subconsciously or we justĀ  believe to look at the results and use them in determining whether or not any biases are evident,

As handicappers we must be aware of the factors likely to have the greatest influences on the outcome of a game. Obviously the home umpire is the individual who exerts the greatest influence in a game since he makes a determination on any pitch that is not hit as to whether it is a ball or a strike.

We have published some articles over the past few weeks explaining the intricacies, the mathematics and the percentages behind moneyline betting. Of course, understanding each of these concepts is an integral part of becoming a successful baseball capper. In general, the feedback received on these articles has been exceedingly positive. We have, however, stumbled upon a fairly interesting theme in our client correspondence. In sum, many gamblers that only bet on football and/or basketball are not totally sure how betting on the moneyline works.

On the surface, moneylines can indeed look complex.
