Baseball profits while others Fall...To this day it amazes me just how many sports bettors pass on baseball for football and basketball to place their wagering dollars on. I say shame on you for doing so, but I'll take the money anyway. There is no doubt in my mind that over the years I have made 5 fold the money betting baseball than any other sport, and that is 11 years of experience talking. Let's break this down and see if we can't get some guys on the bandwagon to make some easy money, because in no uncertain terms, baseball is the easiest sport to make at.

Keeping track of data on Umpires is to learn of any biases that may be inherent in the way an individual umpire calls balls and strikes or shows sentiment for or against the home team. Such behavior may occur due to psychological and other intangible factors at play. Subconsciously or we just  believe to look at the results and use them in determining whether or not any biases are evident,

As handicappers we must be aware of the factors likely to have the greatest influences on the outcome of a game. Obviously the home umpire is the individual who exerts the greatest influence in a game since he makes a determination on any pitch that is not hit as to whether it is a ball or a strike.
